PreRoll-Er Pre Installation Checklist

Welcome to the PreRoll-Er Family!

We are excited to embark on this journey with you and are committed to ensuring a seamless installation of your PreRoll-Er

To facilitate a smooth and timely setup, we kindly ask you to complete the Pre-Installation Checklist available on our portal. You can access the form here : Pre-Installation Checklist.

Please remember that this checklist must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to your scheduled installation date. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your installation appointment.

Information of Your PreRoll-Er

In this section, you will find detailed explanations of the requirements for your PreRoll-Er. These guidelines are essential to ensure optimal performance and a successful installation. By adhering to these requirements, you can help us provide the best possible experience with your equipment.

Compressed Air and Dryer Requirements

Inline dryer: The compressed air supply must be dried using an inline dryer.

Please note that an inline dryer is mandatory for the compressed air supply. Without it, the technician will not proceed with the installation of your PreRoll-Er.

If the inline dryer is not installed upon the technician's arrival, any delay caused while waiting for its installation will be billed at $250/hour. Alternatively, this time may be deducted from your allotted training time.

Coalescent filters are NOT recommended as they do not sufficiently remove moisture from the air, which is crucial for the machine’s optimal performance.

Air cleanliness: The compressed air supplied must be free of particles larger than 5 microns.

Clean air is essential to avoid clogging or damaging the machine's internal components.

Air supply capacity:

The PreRoll-Er need a consistent air flow of 20 CFM @ 100 psi (100% duty cycle). If the air supply fluctuates or is insufficient, the machine may not function correctly.

Pressure maintenance:

Compressed air pressure must remain steady at 100 PSIG. To maintain machine efficiency and avoid interruptions during operation.

Air connection size:

The compressed air line connection should not use quick connects and must have a diameter of no smaller than 1/2 inch.inch.

Smaller diameters could restrict airflow and reduce machine performance.

Conclusion: Clean, dry, and stable compressed air is critical for the smooth operation of the PreRoll-Er. Inadequate air quality or supply can cause malfunctions, requiring additional service visits.

Power Requirements

120V, 15A circuit:

The PreRoll-Er need 200-240V, 20A electrical circuit available and hardwired into the machine's disconnect switch.

Additional Circuit for AC Unit:

If you opt for the AC unit, an additional 200-240V, 20A circuit is required, also to be hardwired.

Freezing Tumbler Option:

An extra 120V, 20A circuit is needed if you choose the freezing tumbler option, which uses a standard power plug.

Conclusion: Proper power supply ensures the machine runs safely and efficiently. Incorrect wiring or underpowered circuits could lead to failures during operation.

Cannabis Specifications

Quantity Required:

High-quality cannabis is required for setup and training, with a quantity of 3-5 lbs.

Grinding Size:

A consistent particle size distribution of the ground material is recommended, ideally between 1.5-2mm for 80% of the volume.

Moisture Level:

Cannabis moisture levels should range between 9% and 15%.

Cone Requirements

Quantity Required

A supply of at least 24,000 cones is necessary to operate the machine.

Make a second verification

The cones must match the size and brand compatible with the machine tooling.

Networking and Environmental Setup

Ethernet connection:

In order to provide you the support you deserve A hard-wired Ethernet connection must be available. This connection allows for remote diagnostics, updates, and communication with the machine.

Temperature control:

Maintain a room temperature between 60-65°F (16-18°C) to ensure the machine operates in optimal conditions. Extreme temperatures can affect the performance and longevity of the equipment.

Humidity control: Maintain humidity levels between 40-60% relative humidity to avoid corrosion or moisture-related damage to the machine components.

Conclusion: A stable network and controlled environment are necessary to ensure the machine performs reliably, avoiding issues caused by excessive heat, cold, or humidity.

Documentation and Pictures

Compressor installation photo: A clear picture of your compressor installation, including the nameplate, must be Include in the form.

Explanation: We request this photo to confirm that your air system is properly installed and ready to handle the demands of the PreRoll-ER , avoiding delays during installation.

Local Approvals and Readiness

Local approvals: Ensure that all necessary local and state approvals have been obtained for operating the machine with cannabis. This ensures compliance with regulations and prevents any legal or operational issues.

Operators and technicians: All personnel responsible for operating and maintaining the machine should be prepared for training. This includes having adequate staff available to undergo the required training sessions.

Explanation: It's essential to have all necessary legal permits and trained personnel ready to ensure the machine operates smoothly from the start.

Injection Specification

Product quality: The product (oil, rosin, distillate) used in the machine must be free of solid particles and filtered to ensure smooth operation. The recommended viscosity is less than 200 centipoise (cp), similar to honey. The optimal ratio is 80/20.
